The questions the Organizing Committee receives most often.
Who is eligible to submit to the AHA?
Hotels, hotel developers and managers, recreations and destinations, cruises and yachts, excursions and transportation, airlines and airports located across Asia, from independent professionals to hospitality groups.
Can I submit multiple entries?
Yes. There is no limit on entries, and one project can enter more than one category provided it meets each category’s criteria. Each additional category carries its own fee.
Can I submit an award-winning project from other competitions?
Yes. AHA welcomes previous award-winning projects to enter the shortlist of the 2027 AHA.
Can unfinished or conceptual projects be submitted?
Yes, where the category accepts concept projects: see the Concept categories for properties completing in 2026 or 2027.
Can I edit my submission after it has been saved?
Yes, through your AHA account at any time before the deadline, as long as you have not clicked the SUBMIT button.
When is the submission deadline?
All submissions must be completed by 25 February 2027. Late or incomplete submissions will not be accepted.
What are the payment options?
Online payment on OnePay's secure page, by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, JCB or UnionPay card, or by Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay; your entry opens as soon as the payment is approved. Fees are set in USD and charged in Vietnamese dong at the rate shown at checkout. Bank transfers are not accepted.
Can I get a refund or transfer my fee?
No. The entry fee covers the administrative review and independent jury evaluation, is assigned to the registered project and category, and is non-refundable regardless of the judging outcome.
How are projects evaluated?
Every eligible entry is assessed independently by the international AHA jury against the official criteria: authenticity, customer satisfaction review, online presence / engagement, quality of service and corporate social responsibility.
When will the winners be announced?
In April 2027, following the jury evaluation. Payment instructions for the award-winning fee are sent with the official winner announcement.
Is attendance at the Winners’ Night mandatory?
No. Winners who cannot attend may choose the non-attendance package (USD 2,450) and receive the same recognition, with the Winner’s Kit shipped to their address. Extra gala tickets are USD 180 per person.
